MARINA SYSTEMS

PREMIUM MARINAS

Every good company idea starts with a problem. Ours was simple: how to develop a marina in water depths in excess of six metres. By circumventing traditional fixed construction methods, we designed floating breakwaters and concrete pontoons.

Floating breakwaters and concrete pontoons benefit from a low profile, which is important in areas with large tidal ranges, and from minimal interference with water circulation and fish migration. Furthermore, they can easily be reconfigured into new layouts should the need arise: With our wide, floating breakwaters you can even develop marinas in new locations, exposed to long, large waves.

However, a floating marina is not just a place to park boats. It’s a highly specialised project and requires companies with the appropriate knowledge and understanding to decide on the optimal form, layout and hardware. Especially if you want it to be a charming, worthwhile place to visit and still be there after the storm.
